In Ukraine medical help is available in hospitals, polyclinics, and also in medical centre’s in such places as factories and schools. Usually I get medical care in the regional medical care centre. Sometimes I have problems with my health: in winter I catch a cold very often. My doctor gives me many useful recommendations, which I try to follow.

A balanced diet containing the basic food types is essential for satisfactory growth development, and health. A diet based on root vegetables is likely to lead to some degree of protein deficiency. A balanced diet is one consisting of small amount of meat, fish, eggs, dairy products, fruit and vegetables, grains, nuts, and seeds.

The importance of personal hygiene is accepted in nearly all countries of the world. Personal hygiene includes washing the hands after visiting the washroom, and washing hands before preparing or eating food.

Others are to avoid smoking, drugs, and excessive quantities of alcohol.
